1. Implementation of New Credit Curriculum for 4-Year Degree Programs
Maharashtra is committed to implementing a new credit-based curriculum for undergraduate and postgraduate programs in line with NEP-2020. The government has decided to implement a curricular framework for UG and PG programs across state universities and affiliated colleges. 2. Implementation of Academic Bank of Credit (ABC)
Maharashtra emphasizes the implementation of the Academic Bank of Credit, a centralized repository for accumulating and transferring academic credits earned by students. Universities are responsible for ensuring the accumulation of credits on the ABC portal and the complete uploading of mark sheets and degree certificates on the National Academic Depository (NAD) portal. Students' registration on the ABC portal is also a priority.
3. Active Industry and Institute Collaboration
Maharashtra recognizes the significance of industry partnerships in bridging the gap between academia and the professional world. Active collaboration through Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with industries and institutes is encouraged to foster meaningful partnerships. 4. Accreditation of Affiliated Institutions

The universities to provide the necessary support, guidance, and direction to ensure the accreditation of non-accredited colleges under their jurisdiction. Department actively encourage universities to monitor accreditation of affiliated HEIs. Accreditation enhances the quality of education and promotes continuous improvement in infrastructure, teaching methods, and research capabilities. Maharashtra recognizes the importance of maintaining high standards in higher education institutions and works towards ensuring that all affiliated institutions meet the necessary accreditation criteria.
5. Integration of Indian Knowledge System Courses
